McG Marketing led the analysis of Hallmark.com customer database to determine the optimal pricing strategies for the company's transition to fee-based e-cards. The analysis evaluated the frequencies with which customers had historically sent Hallmark e-cards and the ad revenue that Hallmark had historically earned from these customer interactions to determine the optimal fee structure to maximize revenue.

Matt was previously principal for Gruppo, Levey & Co., an investment bank for the direct marketing industry where he provided strategic and transactional advice to clients and led the firm’s strategic advisory group, and was responsible for all database marketing and partnership marketing for Barnes & Noble.com. Matt’s earlier career was in the financial services sector where he was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Fleet Bank (now Bank of America) and Advanta’s credit card businesses, with oversight for all corporate development efforts including partnership marketing, portfolio and business acquisitions, and other business ventures.
Matt holds an M.B.A from Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with honors from George Washington University with a B.A. in Economics. He previously served on the Board of Advisors for Achex, Inc., an online payments company recently acquired by First Data Corporation.
